Decline In Attendance

According to a new report released this week by Themed Entertainment Association, attendance at Disney parks in the US declined in 2016 by 1%, the slowest growth rate in five years. Despite lower attendance numbers, Disney’s revenue was up 5% due to increased guest spending. According to Disney officials, they are okay with trading smaller crowds for higher prices. Ticket prices at the theme parks continue to increase year after year. However, Disney is anticipating an increase in attendance with the new Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World and Star Wars Land at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Are you willing to pay more to keep the crowds smaller? Let us know what you think!
