There is a lot happening at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort. This area has undergone quite the overhaul in the past few years, and there’s still construction happening. I was at Disney Springs yesterday to get updated photos on the newest construction. The new Grapefruit parking garage is almost done. The Orange and Lime garages are on the same side of the street as the Springs. This new garage is across the street, and has impressive walkway bridges to get guests safely over to the Marketplace area. Here’s how it looks!
The new Grapefruit garage will be opening soon! Also under construction is the NBA Experience that is going up where Disney Quest used to be. This new area will be an impressive gaming place for basketball fans, and will be open sometime this summer from what I understand. Here’s the current status of the building!
Lastly, there is a new restaurant being built on the West Side called Jaleo. This new establishment will bring the taste of Spain courtesy of Chef Jose Andres. The restaurant looks close to being complete on the outside, but the signs outside say that it’s coming this Winter sometime. It’s really a nice looking restaurant thus far!
