It seems that the world is all about Minnie Mouse these days! From clothing to accessories to snacks… Minnie is soaring in popularity again. If you’re a fan of Minnie Mouse, the following recipe for Minnie Mouse cupcakes is for you!
What You’ll Need
Chocolate cupcakes in pink polka dot wrappers
White frosting
Pink fine sugar sprinkles
Neon pink food coloring
White pearl sprinkles
Bubble gum tape
Mini chocolate cookies
Kitchen scissors
How To Make It
1 Prepare your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe.
2 Add 4-5 drops of pink food coloring into plain white frosting. Stir until icing is smooth and food coloring is evenly distributed.
3 Once cooled, frost cupcakes with pink frosting.
4 Dust cupcakes with pink sugar sprinkles, completely covering surface of cupcake.
5 To create Minnie’s ears, pull apart mini chocolate cookies into halves and place about an inch apart on the back third of the cupcake.
6 Use scissors to cut a two-inch piece of bubble tape. Fold into a loop, pinching the center together.
7 Cut a small piece of bubble tape. Trim down in width but cutting down the middle of the bubble tape. Fold over the middle of the first piece.
8 Place bubble tape bow on cupcake in between Minnie’s ears.
9 Delicately place white pearl sprinkles onto the cupcake, creating a polka dot pattern.
