Today In Disney History ~ April 1st
Blizzard Beach was Walt Disney World’s third water park (River Country and Typhoon Lagoon are the first two). It is the home of Mount Gushmore. The park is open year round except for during its annual maintenance closure. Except for the melting snow in the ice cave of Cross Country Creek, all of the water areas at Disney’s Blizzard Beach are heated.
