Earlier this year, the “Original” Boy Band – the Dapper Dans – wowed guests at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom parks with their harmonious interpretations of boy band hits. Well, I’m thrilled to tell you that this summer, the Dapper Dans of Disneyland park are bringing back this popular medley for a limited time encore, July 15–21. This is part of the Limited Time Magic campaign for Disney Parks this year.
The second announcement for today regarding Limited Time Magic, is regarding the long-lost Disney friends voting results. Fans were asked to vote on their favorite character that we don’t get to see at the Parks anymore, and offer an encore of these characters by hosting a “Long-Lost Friends” week.
During Long-Lost Friends week (July 15-21), rarely seen Disney characters will be stepping into the spotlight at Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. You’ll have the chance to get up-close and personal and enjoy photo opportunities with the friends you selected in our online poll.
So, who got the most votes?
- From “Robin Hood”: Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John
- From “Chicken Little”: Chicken Little and Abby Mallard
- From “Song of the South”: Brer Bear and Brer Fox
There will also be more long-lost Disney characters to see, so be sure to visit Magic Kingdom Park July 15-21 to find out who else will be visiting during “Limited Time Magic” at the Walt Disney World Resort.
