The 501st Legion will be stationed throughout the House of Mouse Expo from July 31 through August 2, 2026, transforming the event into a temporary Imperial outpost. Expect to encounter Stormtroopers, Sith Lords, bounty hunters, and other iconic characters from across the Star Wars galaxy.

What Is the 501st Legion?
The 501st Legion is an all-volunteer worldwide organization dedicated to creating and wearing high-quality, screen-accurate costumes inspired by the villains and supporting characters of the Star Wars universe.
Founded in 1997 by Albin Johnson in Columbia, the group began with just a handful of passionate fans. Since then, it has grown into one of the most respected fan organizations in the world, with more than 14,000 active members across dozens of countries.
Their nickname, “Bad Guys Doing Good,” reflects the organization’s true mission: using the power of fandom to support charitable causes, bring joy to children and families, and make appearances at hospitals, community events, conventions, and fundraising efforts around the globe.
