Shopping at Walt Disney World for May the 4th
If you’re heading to Walt Disney World Resort for Star Wars Day, there are a few important things to know before you go.
Both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs will be using a virtual queue for their merchandise events.
To join, you’ll need to use the My Disney Experience app. If you plan to enter Hollywood Studios, you’ll also need valid park admission and a reservation if required.
Here’s when you can join:
- 7:00 AM Eastern for Hollywood Studios
- 9:00 AM Eastern for Disney Springs
There’s also mobile checkout available inside Hollywood Studios. You can scan your items while you shop and pay right from your phone, which should make the whole process a lot easier.
Countdown to May the 4th with Daily Reveals
We’re less than a week away from Star Wars Day, but Disney is stretching things out with daily merchandise reveals leading up to May 4.
From now through May 3, new items will be revealed each day that will be available on Disney Store and in the parks. If something catches your eye, you’ll want to be ready when it drops.
Embrace the Dark Side
The first set of items is all about the dark side, and there are some really solid pieces here.
Fans of Darth Maul are getting a new ear headband from BaubleBar that features his red and black look with rhinestone details. It’s one of those items that will definitely stand out in the parks.
There’s also a Darth Maul inspired long sleeve shirt from Her Universe that mixes comfort and style pretty well. It’s something you could wear beyond just Star Wars Day.
And for Darth Vader fans, there’s a varsity jacket from Her Universe with embroidered details and a “join the dark side” design on the back. That one feels like it’s going to be really popular once it releases.
