🌸Favorite Things Friday 🌸

This weeks favorite is the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! I have spent the last two days at this year’s kickoff and thoroughly enjoyed it! Let’s discuss!

Epcot is the park for festivals and truthfully I like them all! Epcot International Festival of the Arts, Flower and Garden Festival and of course Food and Wine! There’s just something about the extra food, merchandise and entertainment… it makes for a different experience. While it’s a close call to choose a favorite festival, for me, the Flower and Garden Festival is the winner! I know I know… a lot of people prefer the Food and Wine Festival, but I really have some good reasons for my selection!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival brings springtime happiness! Everyone looks forward to spring, and this festival encompasses the season! There are beautiful flowers everywhere, you can smell them as you walk around the park. The various Disney topiary displays are so cute and great for photos as well. I love them!

Festival merch this year is FABULOUS! There are four different themes… Minnie, Figment, Spike the Bee and of course the Orange Bird! 🍊🍊🍊Oh AND… there is an Annual Passholder Spirit Jersey this year too! The season just began and I’ve already bought too much festival merchandise! It’s just so cute!

I like the food so much better at the Flower and Garden Festival rather than the others. As a picky eater, I sometimes have a hard time finding food to try. Not at F&G! My favorites this year are the Key Lime Tart inside World Showplace, Frushi at the Japan Pavilion, the Margherita flatbread pizza at the Italy Pavilion, and for a drink… the Orange Bird smoothie! 🍊

The Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival runs through July 5th! I fully intend to make as many visits back to the festival as I can! Which festival is your favorite?

Have a great weekend everyone! -M
