Yesterday afternoon, my family and I wanted to get out of the house for a bit to enjoy the cooler weather. Even though we had no fastpasses, we headed to Epcot to see what was new. Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival kicks off this week on March 4th and you can see that they’re almost ready to go! There’s even a new topiary back in the France pavilion! It’s Remy, which is appropriate since Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens there this summer!

Also new, the fan favorite butterfly tent looks like it’s in a different location this year. It’s towards Journey into Imagination, out front.

Some of our favorite topiaries aren’t out yet, but some of them have moved to new locations. Some stayed the same. Take a look!

The various food booths are getting ready, there are beautiful flowers everywhere, it’s just magical!

Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room so to speak. Construction walls! The entire front part of Epcot is filled with walls and detours. Your usual paths cannot be taken. However, there are signs posted to get you to where you need to be. I was a little confused at first but we maneuvered around just fine. Future World is undergoing a complete transformation so we have to try to be patient while the work is being done. I’m sure it will be worth the wait!

The Garden Rocks Concert Series kicks off with Peabo Bryson on March 4th & 5th. Opening weekend for the concerts features The Orchestra with former members of the classic group ELO. Of course in addition to the food and entertainment, is the special merchandise that is ever present every year at the festival. This year we are seeing the Orange Bird in a lot of the goodies, so cute!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden festival begins this Wednesday and runs through June 1st. Stay tuned to The Main Street Mouse for coverage the entire season long (and after)!
