There’s a new way to tune in to Disney and Star Wars contests automatically, thanks to a handy mobile app called Disney Applause. You can download the app to your iOS or Android device from the App Store andGoogle Play store, then tune in to what contests are currently running and check out what prizes are up for grabs. You can also look back through past contests to see the submissions that won top awards.
Right now, you can enter the Show Your Ears contest by snapping a picture of yourself in your favorite ear-hat. If you’ve misplaced your Mickey ears, you can even make some of your own and be entered just as well. Upload your photo and you might be featured here on Disney Blogs as a reward! That’s what we call using your head.
Take a look at the Disney Applause app’s colorful interface below for an example of what the experience will look like on your device. You might also notice that, in addition to Show Your Ears, we’re Calling All Turkey Leg Lovers to pose with that famous Disney Parks food:
