First, Tangled is one of my favorite movies of all time. The reason, such great characters. From Rapunzel herself, Mother Gothel, to Flynn, the guys from the Snuggly Duckling and Maximus they are all memorable. There is one character that steals the show though, none other than Pascal. The Oh My Disney blog put out some animated .GIF files of Pascal in action. Check them out.
Disney films are full of comedic sidekicks, but Pascal is one of the best. He’s cute and hilarious in equal measure, and even though he can’t speak, we always know what he’s thinking. He wears his heart (and the surrounding colors of his environment) on his sleeve, and has the perfect reaction face for any situation:
When you narrowly escape somebody you’re trying to avoid.
When your DVR won’t let you fast-forward through the commercials.
When you casually point a cute boy out to your friend.
When somebody quotes a Disney movie incorrectly.
When your sibling gets in trouble, but you got out of it.
When a DIY goes wrong.
When your friend suggests a movie you don’t really feel like watching.
When you’re at a party with people you don’t know.
When your friend surprises you with frozen yogurt.
When you watch the fireworks at Disneyland.
