Earlier this year we announced that as a part of Disney Vacation Club’s 25th Anniversary events, a members only lounge would be opening at Epcot. Today it was confirmed by DVC that the new Member Lounge, which will be located on the second floor of the Imagination pavilion at Epcot, will open on June 6.

The Lounge will be available daily to DVC Members through the end of the anniversary year.  Per DVC the “lounge surrounds its casual seating areas with complimentary beverages (including Coca-Cola Freestyle machines), device-charging stations, Wi-Fi, computer stations with printers and mounted tablets pre-set to easily access select Disney websites, including MDE.” Member Services Advisors will also be available to help members book future stays, book dining reservations etc.

    1. Hello Alice,
I’m sorry you had that experience at Epcot. Unfortunately, we do not work for Disney and we are not affiliated with Disney in any way. What I would recommend you contact Disney Customer Service and they should be able to assist you. The phone number is 1 (407) 939-5277.

I hope Disney is able to assist you,
      Scott

  1. I have a serious complaint regarding the member lounge at Epcot. My husband and I were there last month on Martin Luther King Day. The park was very crowded, so we decided to take a break at the members’ lounge. We approached the podium and were told that there was a wait to get in and we should leave our cell phone number and we would receive a text when we could go in. We told your representative at the podium that we did not have a cell phone. She told us that she could not help us. We asked if we could just wait there, and she rudely told us “NO, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER AND YOU WOULD RECEIVE A TEXT MESSAGE.” Again, we told her that we did not have a cell phone, let alone do text messaging–we are senior citizens and we have no use for cell phones or texting. She again rudely replied, “Then you have to leave because I cannot help you”. This is not fair and we are being discriminated against because we have no cell phone. Is
not our membership card good enough, and why couldn’t we simply wait there until there was room for us upstairs? This is totally unfair and is unacceptable.
We have been members in good standing since 1994 and to be treated this rudely is definitely NOT DISNEY LIKE!!!!!
