One thing most Disney Fans have in common is our love for Disney FOOD! Disney has the best treats around, and we all know Disney calories don’t count, right? Well, I thought I’d seen it all, and maybe I just have been missing out, but on Saturday at Epcot, my little guy got a treat that we haven’t had before! A Red Velvet Whoopie Pie! Oh yes, it’s as good as it sounds!
We were walking around Epcot, and it was at an in between time of day. Too late for lunch, too early for dinner…. so it was snack time! We had just gotten off of Soarin’ and were walking past the Sunshine Terrace area. I told the boys they could pick out a treat, so they headed over to the bakery counter of course. Andrew got a chocolate brownie which was awesome, and Aidan got the whoopie pie. Something we never tried! The whoopie pie consists of red velvet cake on the top and bottom, with a cream cheese frosting in the middle. The middle is also rolled in chocolate chips on the side for extra sweetness. The cutest part was the thin chocolate Mickey Mouse on the top, which he promptly ate after I took the picture!
