Mega Movie Summer Returns June 13
Universal Studios Hollywood has officially announced the return of Mega Movie Summer, running daily from June 13 through August 9, 2026. Included with regular theme park admission, this limited-time event celebrates some of the biggest films from Universal Pictures and Illumination through interactive experiences, themed food, exclusive merchandise, and special entertainment offerings throughout the park.
To make the summer even more exciting, Universal Studios Hollywood is offering a Buy A Day, Get A 2nd Day Free General Admission ticket. Guests can purchase the special ticket online and enjoy a second visit free of charge, with both visits completed by December 16, 2026.
Minions & Monsters Takes Over Super Silly Fun Land
One of the biggest additions this summer is the arrival of Illumination’s upcoming film Minions & Monsters, which hits theaters on July 1.
Guests visiting Super Silly Fun Land near Despicable Me Minion Mayhem will have the opportunity to meet the film’s newest stars, Henry and James. The area will feature interactive experiences, photo opportunities, and a lively Minion Dance Party.
Fans can also shop for an exclusive collection of Minions & Monsters merchandise, including apparel, accessories, collectible blind-box figures, and a brand-new Goomi Shoulder Pal.

The Odyssey Comes to the World-Famous Studio Tour
Fans of filmmaker Christopher Nolan will get a special behind-the-scenes look at his upcoming mythological epic, The Odyssey, arriving in theaters July 17.
Universal Studios Hollywood will showcase one of the actual ships used in the production along the famous Studio Tour route. Guests riding the tram will also enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the filmmakers, offering a unique look at the creation of the ambitious cinematic adventure.
Beginning in July, visitors to Universal CityWalk Hollywood can also see a massive 34-foot-tall Trojan Horse from the film displayed outside the Universal Cinema AMC.

Universal is revving up the excitement for the 25th anniversary of the Fast & Furious franchise with several special offerings throughout the park.
Universal Plaza will showcase authentic vehicles used in the films, while a live Street Racers dance show and daily DJ performances keep the energy high.
The celebration also serves as a lead-up to the highly anticipated opening of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, Universal Studios Hollywood’s newest roller coaster.

The magic of Oz returns to Universal Studios Hollywood as beloved characters Elphaba and Glinda make special appearances to celebrate both Wicked and the upcoming Wicked: For Good.
