Rocky and Predator star Carl Weathers has died at the age of 76, leaving behind an exceptional legacy in film, television, arts, and sports.
Weathers’ family announced his passing, expressing deep sadness but also acknowledging the remarkable life he lived and assuring that he died peacefully in his sleep.

After an acclaimed 50-year career, Rocky and Predator star Carl Weathers has died at the age of 76. Deadline has brought the sad word that Weathers has died at the age of 76. The news was delivered by the Rocky and Predator franchise star’s family, who didn’t disclose the cause of the actor’s death, but did release a statement lamenting feeling “deeply saddened” by his passing, but acknowledging the career he left behind and assuring he “died peacefully in his sleep.” See the family’s full statement below:

He died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 1st, 2024. … Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life.
