Buc-ee’s isn’t just a gas station or rest stop along your travels, it’s an experience! What first began in Texas has quickly become a favorite spot for those who live near them or come across them while out on the road. We stop at them along I75 when we travel to and from our home state of Michigan, they’re fantastic! Florida has two of them currently (Daytona Beach and St. Augustine), but we have learned that four more are being added in the Sunshine State! But where?
Fort Pierce – Slated to open in 2027.Details: Located near I-95 and Indrio Road, this massive 76,245-square-foot mega-campus will become the world’s largest convenience store, surpassing the current record holder in Luling, Texas. It features 120 fuel pumps, 18 electric vehicle charging stations, and nearly 780 parking spaces.
Tallahassee – Confirmed in development, with early timelines pointing toward a 2027 rollout.Details: Located near Capital Circle Northwest and Interstate 10, this will be the chain’s very first location in the Florida Panhandle. Plans outline a 74,000-square-foot store with 120 fueling stations and 24 EV charging stations.
Ocala – Opening in 2029 Planned for the southeast corner of I-75 and Northwest 49th Street. The 74,000-square-foot store’s timeline was shifted to 2029 to align with the construction and completion of a new I-75 highway interchange.
Port Charlotte – Confirmed in the pipeline, target year 2029 or later. Planned for Southwest Florida near a new Harborview development off I-75. Real estate plans estimate a layout of roughly 74,000 square feet.
