The world of Auradon is about to get a whole lot more chaotic! Disney has officially released the first trailer for Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, giving fans an exciting look at the next chapter in the wildly popular Descendantsfranchise. Along with the trailer comes a brand-new villain anthem, an expanded cast of familiar and new characters, and the promise of even more original music than any previous installment.
Set to premiere July 16 on Disney Channel before streaming on Disney+ on July 17, Descendants: Wicked Wonderlandlooks ready to take fans on another magical adventure filled with twists, music, and plenty of Wonderland madness.
Wonderland Faces a New Threat
After the events of Descendants: The Rise of Red, everything appears to have been set right.
The Queen of Hearts has changed her ways.
Cinderella is safe.
Red and Chloe believe they’ve finally restored balance.
Unfortunately, changing the past has unexpected consequences.
A brand-new villain, Maddox Hatter, emerges to threaten Wonderland after capturing the Queen of Hearts. To save her, Red and Chloe must assemble an unlikely team of heroes that includes:
- Pink, Red’s newly introduced sister
- Luis, the son of Luisa Madrigal
- Hazel, Captain Hook’s daughter
- Max, the son of Maddox Hatter
Together, they’ll venture into Wonderland for another magical adventure unlike anything the franchise has explored before.
A New Villain Anthem Arrives
Coinciding with the trailer release, Disney also debuted the latest song from the upcoming soundtrack, “Mad-Wicked Wonderland.”
The energetic new track continues the Descendants tradition of unforgettable villain songs while giving fans their first taste of the musical chaos awaiting inside Wonderland.
The soundtrack follows the successful release of “Perfect Princess,” which generated more than 12 million social media impressions during its first few days online.
The full Descendants: Wicked Wonderland Original Soundtrack arrives July 17 through Walt Disney Records and is available now for pre-save.

The popular Descendants/ZOMBIES Worlds Collide Tour isn’t finished yet.
The concert experience returns to North America this fall with 49 arena performances across the United States, Canada, and Mexico before heading overseas in 2027 for 11 performances throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
The show will feature stars from Descendants, ZOMBIES, and Camp Rock, bringing together several generations of Disney musical favorites on one stage.
