Review – Jessie’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom

May 28, 2026

Review Jessies Roundup at Magic KingdomReview – Jessie’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom! The Cool Kids Summer has officially kicked off at Walt Disney World. New offerings have hit each park and it is definitely an exciting time to visit! Over at Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets is officially open, as is the new revamp of Animation Courtyard. Both are fantastic and so well done! Epcot has the updated Soarin’ Across America for America’s 250th birthday, which is a must do, plus GoofyCore for the littles at CommuniCore Hall. Soarin’ is breathtaking by the way, be sure to check it out. Animal Kingdom has Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, you can read about here. Magic Kingdom now has Jessie’s Roundup at the Golden Horseshoe, and we were there to see it on opening day. Here’s the scoop on the new Toy Story fun!

Jessies Roundup Magic Kingdom

Toy Story 5 hits theaters in just a couple of weeks, so adding extra Toy Story characters to Magic Kingdom is fantastic! Jessie’s Roundup; A Rip-Roarin’ Review features Jessie, Woody and Bullseye in an interactive show at the newly redecorated Diamond Horseshoe. It’s great for kids (and parents) to take a break from the heat and have some fun. The show continues throughout the day, Jessie and Woody have their spot, but so does Bullseye with a guitar playing cowboy on hand. There was also a section featuring jump ropers which I absolutely loved.

Jessie and Woody come out on stage to greet the crowd, then the party begins. Kids will learn a new dance, how to make friends, Jessie will teach them how to yodel and more. So cute, it’s definitely a hit! Bullseye does a separate show showing off his new horseshoes accompanied a singing cowboy to entertain the crowd. During both shows, the characters come down from the stage to interact with the kiddos. There are cowboy friends on hand to help the characters navigate around, similar to how they do over at Animal Kingdom with the Bluey show. So, it’s not a character meet and greet, more like a meet and play. It works. There are also activities around the room for entertainment between shows.

My honest opinion… I think Jessie’s Roundup is a wonderful addition to the Cool Kids Summer. The show’s are entertaining, it was not crowded or overwhelming, plus there are chairs along the sides of the floor for parents to take a break. We also cannot forget the air conditioning aspect to it all. The idea of roaming characters is excellent too. It beats the idea of standing in long lines to meet characters, plus parents can get more spontaneous photos of their children having the best time! I am pleasantly surprised at how much fun Jessie’s Roundup is, and I think you may be too. Get to Magic Kingdom this summer to experience it for yourself!
