Getting your hands on one of the most iconic frozen treats at the Disney Parks is about to get easier as Dole Packaged foods, the maker of the famous Dole Whip, has revealed this special and memorable treat will be available in grocery stores sometime soon!
Per a recent announcement, it seems its flavors pineapple, mango, and strawberry will all be coming to grocery stores near you. However, at this time, we’re not sure exactly which grocery store chains. Additionally, a specific mass release date in grocery stores also remains unknown. Please keep following along with The Main Street Mouse as we’ll be sure to share the date as soon as we know!
For those who have a craving for the treat but don’t want to make the trek to a theme park near you or a local grocery store, here is the recipe:
- 1 big scoop of ice cream
- 4 oz. of pineapple juice
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple
The recipe, posted by the foodie guide on Disney Parks Blog, says to add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. It then says to add the mixture to a piping bag and form into a swirl in a cup.
If you are dairy free, we’d also like to point out that Dole has a dairy free version, as shared on their website, which includes the following ingredients:
- 1 cup ripe DOLE® pineapple, chopped and frozen
- 1 ripe DOLE® Banana, peeled and frozen
- 2-1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon lime juice

- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover; blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh pineapple. Serve immediately.
