Magic Cookie Bars, Wilderness Lodge

Today, we are going to talk about a little piece of heaven on Disney property. Oh yes, the Magic Cookie Bar at the Wilderness Lodge! These bars are big enough to share and are filled with chocolate, butterscotch, coconut and more! So good!

Even if you’re not staying at the Wilderness Lodge, these little desserts are worth the trip over to get one. Or two. Or…. You can find these amazing treats at the walk up restaurant, Roaring Fork! Plus with mobile ordering on the app, it’s pretty fast and easy peasy to get them! We have made them at home and they’re almost as good as what we buy at Disney! Here’s the recipe if you want to make Magic Cookie Bars for yourself!

What you’ll need-

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
6 ounces chocolate chips
6 ounces butterscotch chips
1 cup flaked sweetened coconut
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup pecan halves, chopped

How to make them-

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly spray the bottom of a 13×9 inch pan.
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of the pan; combine with melted butter and pat into the pan to form a crust.
Cover crust with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and coconut.
Drizzle entire contents of sweetened condensed milk over pan, covering completely.
Sprinkle nuts evenly over contents.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely; cut into 24 squares.

Give the Magic Cookie Bars a try, you’ll be glad you did! 💜 -M
