ARRRGH YOU READY? PirateFest Weekends RETURN to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort

SWASHBUCKLING SHENANIGANS RETURN DURING PIRATEFEST WEEKENDS AT LEGOLAND® FLORIDA RESORT

The Theme Park Built for Kids Gears Up for a Pirate Invasion

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (Jan. 11, 2021) — Captain Redbeard and his crew return to shore for PirateFest Weekends at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. For three consecutive weekends, starting on January 22, families can immerse themselves in the ultimate pirate-packed day of play, including exclusive character meet-and-greets, exciting entertainment, LEGO® builds, and specialty food– plus, it’s all included in theme park admission.

Say “AHOY” to the LEGO® Pirate Crew + Enjoy Other Photo Spots
Junior pirates and their crews can enjoy exclusive LEGO character meet and greets with the fiercest pirates that have ever sailed such as Pirate Captain, Pirate Princess, Zombie Pirate and even, Captain Redbeard, himself. Fan favorite, Shark Suit Guy, has even come to take a bite out of the fun. There are other bricktastic pirate-themed photo spots around the park to snag a selfie with including Sawtooth the Shark.

Feast Your Eyes on Swashbuckling Shows
Adventure and music await families in the return of the original stage show, Treasure Behold, where a crew of pirates set their sights on finding legendary buried treasure inside LEGO® City Stage. Young buccaneers in training can learn the “ways of the pirate” in the interactive show, Academy of Arrgh! Or jam out to the notorious pirate band, Rusty Cutlass. And no PirateFest Weekend is complete without the stunt-stacked Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show. Join Captain Brickbeard and Calico Jade as they whip their new pirate recruits into shape in this epic show featuring world-class wakeboarding, barefoot skiing and an energetic flyboard act.

Play Like a Pirate with Scavenger Hunts + LEGO® Builds
If there is one thing pirates love to do, it’s play. Your crew can take part in pirate-themed activities around the park including a sea creature competition build and a deep-sea scavenger hunt, sponsored by Florida Prepaid. There may even be treasure in store for those who collect stamps in their Pirate Guide by experiencing all PirateFest Weekends has to offer.

The pirate fun continues long after the Park closes when families stay onsite at LEGOLAND® Pirate Island Hotel. Located just 130-kid steps away from the front gate, this adventure-packed hotel is the ultimate family destination for a long weekend or vacation, and every stay at Pirate Island Hotel includes a free family-style breakfast, nightly pirate fun and in-room treasure hunts.

This must-do event, along with the return of fan favorites, like LEGO® NINJAGO® Weekend, is included with LEGOLAND® Theme Park general admission and select Annual Passes, starting at less than $11/month with a small down payment. Learn more at LEGOLAND.com/Florida
