Note: The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort have begun phased reopenings starting with Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on April 29, 2021, followed by Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on June 15, 2021, and the Disneyland Hotel on July 2, 2021. Hotel restaurant offerings, activities and select services may vary during the phased reopenings, with limited capacities.
At the Disneyland Resort, guests will find three Disney hotel properties, each with a distinctivestyle: the upscale surroundings and California Craftsman architecture of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, thesunny California beachfront theme at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and the classic Disney magic and charm of the Disneyland Hotel. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopened April 29, 2021; Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel reopened on June 15, 2021 and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen on July 2, 2021.
Offering a variety of accommodations, settings and amenities, all three hotels feature Disney magic and the acclaimed Disney touch for quality, service and hospitality. As part of the Disneyland Resort, these hotels are juststeps away from Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, as well as the eclectic mix of shopping and dining at Downtown Disney District.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa –1600 S. Disneyland Drive, (714) 635-2300
Capturing the spirit of early California through inspiring design and daring architecture, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning property. It features 948 guest rooms and 71 Disney VacationClub Villas, and is the flagship hotel of the Disneyland Resort.
The hotel’s design celebrates the romantic Arts & Crafts movement of early 20th century California. As an artistic exploration of California’s coastlines with its Monterey pines and redwood forests, the hotel is layered with the memories of the Arroyo craftsmen, the mission pioneers and the Plein Air school of painters. It was also the first hotel in the United States to be built inside a Disney park, with its own private entrance to Disney California Adventure, making stays at this deluxe hotel a uniquely-themed experience.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers a variety of suites, 20,000 square-feet of meeting space, three swimming pools and five dining locations: Storytellers Café, Hearthstone Lounge, GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill and theaward-winning Napa Rose restaurant. With approximately 35 sommeliers, including several advanced sommeliers,Napa Rose boasts a significant number of certified wine experts under one roof.

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel – 1717 S. Disneyland Drive, (714) 999-0990
This 481-room hotel is themed to a colorful “day at the beach” and California’s seaside culture of fun. Disney’sParadise Pier Hotel is a 15-story high-rise overlooking Disney California Adventure, featuring a rooftop pool and a waterslide, a fitness center, gift shop and 30,000 square feet of meeting space. For dining, guests may enjoy the whimsical PCH Grill restaurant, with quick bites and refreshments also available in the lobby’s Surfside Lounge or at the poolside Sand Bar.
Note: As part of the phased reopening, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will not have food and beverage offerings initially. Hotel guests may visit any of the nearby dining outlets at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, along with the many innovative food and beverage offerings throughout the Downtown Disney District. Select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District also provide services to order food and beverages that can be delivered to any of the three Disneyland Resort hotel lobbies.*

At the Disneyland Hotel, guests will find a family vacation resort brimming with Disney magic and benefits. Offering 973 guest rooms, the hotel features a variety of restaurants and lounges, shops and three swimming pools, among other amenities.
This landmark hotel features 973 guest rooms including specially-themed Disney suites and a courtyard featuring two pools and two water slides reminiscent of the vintage Disneyland Hotel Monorail Station. Memorable dining options include Goofy’s Kitchen, Tangaroa Terrace, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and the award-winning Steakhouse 55. The AAA Four Diamond hotel also features one of the largest contiguous convention spaces in the Western U.S. at 136,000 square feet.
Staying in the Fantasy Tower is enchanting, where the nostalgia of Disneyland, touches of pixie dust and “hidden” Mickeys meld with the hotel’s mid-century modern design. In all guest rooms, the headboards light up with fireworks and plays, “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”
During the closure, the upholstery and fabrics throughout the guest rooms, lobbies and meeting rooms were refreshed and updated. The guest rooms now feature a new fireworks pattern in the carpet and upgraded platform beds to help maximize storage. The corridor flooring features new patterns inspired by the art of Mary Blair with graphic elements recalling the park lands each of the towers are named for.
While on vacation, guests may stroll the Disneyland Hotel’s gorgeous grounds, take a cool ride down the Monorail waterslides, swim in themed pools, take a dip in either of the Mickey and Minnie spa whirlpools, relax in a cabana* or at the pool bar, or get even more steps in at the fitness center.
Note: The Disneyland Hotel will initially reopen with its Fantasy Tower accommodations, pools, Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Convenient Check-In, Check-Out at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort:
- Guests can save time and check-in online, up to five days in advance, before they arrive at a Disneyland Resort hotel. A link to complete online check-in will be emailed prior to their visit. Guests will need a Disney account and can create one by going to Disneyland.com.
- Upon arrival, for those guests who have checked in online and have agreed to receive text messages, they will receive a text message when their room is ready. Then, they simply stop by the Front Desk to pick up their key. For easy and contactless payments throughout their stay, guests can pay for purchases at Disney operated locations using their hotel room key with a valid credit card on file.
- The morning of check-out, there is no need for guests to visit the Front Desk, unless they receive a message or have a question. They will be automatically checked out for their convenience.
When planning to visit the theme parks, guests should make their theme park reservations separately, first, before booking their hotel room, as a resort hotel room reservation does not guarantee theme park access. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid theme park ticket for the same park on the same date is required. Guests will need a Disney account to make a theme park reservation.
