Disney World Raises Prices on Annual Passes

Walt Disney World raised the price of most of its annual passes on Tuesday, an increase of more than 10 percent on one of its plans.

As of Tuesday, Disney’s silver annual pass costs $479, a 9.1 percent increase. Its weekday select annual pass, which restricts visitors to a Monday-through-Friday access, went up 10.4 percent, from $289 to $319.

The Florida Residents Theme Park Select Pass, which block-out dates that vary by individual parks, stays at $439.

Disney World’s higher-end passes went up as well, but by smaller percentages. The gold annual pass went from $589 to $609, up 3.4 percent. The platinum annual pass went up 2.7 percent (from $729 to $749).
