TMSM’s Adventures in Florida Living ~ We Need A Little Disney

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you all are doing well and are ready to chat! Let’s get right to it!

I had been a bit under the weather, and although I’m not feeling 100% yet, sometimes the need to get out of the house overpowers what I “should” be doing, if that makes sense. Plus, the kids go a little stir crazy when we’re stuck at home as well. We needed some Disney time, so that’s exactly what we did. I had yet to go to Epcot to check out their Festival of the Holidays, so we scheduled that for Saturday evening. We only went to Epcot for a few hours, but it was a fun time. The decorations for Christmas at Epcot are of course beautiful, just like other places across Disney property. The festival has some extra food and drink choices, and of course merchandise, it’s a good time.

Sunday we stayed home and rested for the majority of the day, then in the evening we went to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. When we were there for the media night a few weeks ago, we missed a lot of what the party has to offer, so we took the opportunity to go back again. This time, we did get to see more of the party, and the kids got more of the snacks that the party offers, so they were happy. Instead of watching the earlier parade, we stayed for the later one, and you can see everything so much better. The Christmas parade is pretty darn magical, just like the Boo to You Parade at Halloween time. Disney sure knows how to make these special parties memorable for guests. We tried to do as many of the photo pass pics that we could, had our fill of cookies and hot chocolate, but we really did have a good, but tiring time. I’m so glad we went back.

This week has of course been a busy one. We had our yearly Christmas lunch with our sponsors David’s DVC Rentals yesterday. Also this week, we’re having our first open house for our Disney LuLaRoe business, so I have a lot to get ready for. I’m pretty excited to have some Main Streeters in our home to socialize and shop, it’s going to be a great time I’m sure. Thank you, all of you, for keeping up with us every week, it’s always appreciated. This weekend while I was at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom both, I got stopped by people who follow TMSM, and it’s always a joy for me to be able to thank people in person for being part of our site. Without you, our readers, TMSM would not exist, and we thank you for the love and support. Until next week, sending you hugs, blessings and pixie dust…. see ya real soon! ~M
