TMSM’s Adventures in Florida Living ~ #DisneyHolidays
Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! Let’s catch up and the latest here in Central Florida, shall we?
Last weekend we made it over to Hollywood Studios to check out their new Christmas festivities. This year their theme is called “Flurry of Fun” and has a great addition with the Sunset Seasons Greetings. What’s that? Well, they have amazing projections up on the Tower of Terror that play throughout the evening once dusk hits, it’s pretty awesome. There are extra decorations, new snacks, and a holiday ending over at the Frozen Sing Along. Jingle Bell Jingle BAM is back too, and it’s better than last year, more special effects. I can’t wait to go back again. We met friends there, but I also got stopped by a few Main Streeters, which I love. Being able to thank those who follow us in person is always a joy for me, so thank you, those of you who take time to stop me for a chat!
We’ve been super busy trying to get all of our work caught up, because my parents come to town for a visit on Friday. We have media night for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party that same day, so we’re bringing my mom and dad to the party with us. I seriously can not WAIT to show them the Magic Kingdom at Christmas time. My mom loves the holidays, decorating, all that fun stuff, so she’s going to love the party. So exciting. Yesterday, Disney invited us to do the Backstage Magic tour with a small group of media. I had never done the tour before, so this was all new to me. Getting to see how things run behind the scenes at Disney was fascinating, truly. You kind of get an idea in your head of how things “might” look, but seeing it for yourself is so different. I’m going to do a full write up on the Backstage Magic tour, so watch for that. A big thanks to Disney for the magical day. Oh, a worthy mention, with the tour, you get lunch at Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge! That’s a good thing as well!
Well, that’s about it for this week. We have a lot to do before Friday but I’m looking forward to having family in town. Watch for coverage from the Christmas party as well, it’s coming this weekend!
