Walt Disney Travel Has Released When 2018 Travel Packages Will Open

June 13, 2017

For several months now we keep getting asked “when will the 2018 Magic Your Way travel packages will be available to book?” And for months we have promised that the minute we find out this information we will share it with you. Today we are excited to share that very important date with you!!

This morning Disney Travel announced that Walt Disney World 2018 Magic Your Way Packages will open for booking starting June 20, 2017. Guests should remember that only the first 499 days into the future will be open to book, so they will only be able to book arrivals through October 31, 2018. As we move through 2017, each arrival date in November and December 2018 will open at 499 days out. What this means is that August 19, 2017 will be when December 31, 2018 opens for booking.
For those unfamiliar with what a Magic Your Way package is, it is a Walt Disney World Resort room and ticket or room, ticket and dining package. When booking a Magic Your Way package you receive American Tourister luggage tags in your MagicBand box and a separate Magic Your Way mailer which has a booklet and tear out card for special merchandise and food discounts on Walt Disney World Property. Magic Your Way packages require a $200 deposit to be booked and have to be paid in full 30 days before check in.
By booking your Walt Disney World trip as a Magic Your Way package it makes it so that Magic Your Way sales like the Free Dining sale usually held in the late summer to early fall and the early winter Stay, Play and Dine special can be applied to your reservation when these applicable specials are released. Please know that Disney Travel did not release a date for when 2018 Disneyland room and ticket packages will open, but historically this opens a few months after Walt Disney World’s “next travel year” opens for booking.
Guests who are looking to book their 2017 or 2018 Walt Disney World travel package are welcome to contact our travel partner Pirate and Mermaid Vacations today! They have already started a list of 2018 quote requests and would love to help you book and plan your magical Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or Disney Cruise Line adventure for free!
