Did you know there is a new update available for Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience app? Recently we shared with you information about the exciting new “Mobile Order” counter service feature that now lets guests order and pay for their food right in MDE. But that wasn’t the only new feature that was added to MDE in the May 15 update. MDE now features two new options that many guests will find useful when trying to learn more about their Disney resort or when they just can’t wait to see their memories.


The first new option gives guests access to more information about their resort than ever before. Not only can guests now see more specific resort information related to their reservation (room type and location) but now they can easily see details on what their resort has to offer! With one tap guests can now see what dining, recreation, events, entertainment and shopping options are available at their resort. There is even information on spas and tours for select applicable resorts. Many guests also miss the great “Guest Services” option that helps them find information on resort ATMs, front desk service, package pickup, mail services and more.The second new addition to MDE now gives guests who have enabled app alerts notifications on their phone when their PhotoPass photos are available in their app. So now instead of refreshing your app over and over to see if that great ride photo that you can’t wait to share on social media is available yet, all you have to do is alert to come through. This great option will save you time and hopefully cell phone battery!
