Miss Piggy is making her triumphant return to the world of self-help with a new advice column on Disney’s pop culture site Oh My Disney. The column will feature her enlightening perspective on life, love, beauty and everything that matters –all written through the charismatic voice of Miss Piggy. The debut column tackles female empowerment, self esteem issues and how to make it big on Broadway.

This isn’t Miss Piggy’s first rodeo in the advice industry. Her 1981 book Miss Piggy’s Guide To Life spent 29 weeks on the New York Times Best-Sellers List and peaked at No. 4. Her new column will be featured weekly on Oh My Disney, Disney’s popular entertainment site featuring quizzes, Disney news, art, video and nostalgia for the millennial Disney fan.

The new column caps a successful 2016 for Miss Piggy following her performance with Tony Bennett at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the launch of her new fashion line in collaboration with Kate Spade and her return as First Mate Piggy in the beloved sketch Pigs In Space on YouTube.

ABOUT MISS PIGGY

MISS PIGGY is an international celebrity without compare: a television and feature film star, a best-selling author, a supermodel, fashion icon and legendary diva. No words of praise can adequately describe her; but please keep trying, she simply adores the compliments.

Born on a farm, which was a pleasant enough childhood if wallowing in mud is your idea of a good time, Miss Piggy soon began her meteoric rise into the show business stratosphere. Her big break came when she was hired as a mere chorus pig on “The Muppet Show”. This lowly casting did not last long. Halfway through her first musical number on the first episode of the show, she thrust herself in front of the frog and into the spotlight. Where, dare we say, she has and always will belong.

Her feature film credits include The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppets Take Manhattan, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, The Muppets and Muppets: Most Wanted.

In addition, Miss Piggy has made countless memorable guest appearances on such programs as Good Morning America, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live among many others. She has graced the pages of In Style People, Elle UK, TV Guide, Time, and is also the author of several bestselling books, including Miss Piggy’s Guide to Life and The Diva Code

Fresh off hosting her own talk show, Up Night with Miss Piggy, as seen on the ABC primetime series, The Muppets. And even fresher off breaking up with her longtime romantic partner, Kermit The Frog, Miss Piggy today is the very definition of the strong, independent, mesmerizing, tantalizing, irresistibly fabulous woman of this millennium…or any other.

And yes, she read and approved the above.
