The work we do at The Main Street Mouse each day is a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. Everything we put out for our readers is timed out with a lot of thought behind it. Our friends at Disney gave us the green light to share news that comes out, which we do, but what we like to focus on most is original content specifically geared towards the interest of our Main Streeters. Some of that content comes out in a series, a lot of the articles have their own specific day or theme. Here’s an example of what I mean….

Wednesday is Adventures in Florida Living, keeping readers up to date on happenings here in Florida ~Michele
Thursday is TMSM’s Random Acts of Kindness, Sharing feel good stories with a Disney spin ~Michele
Friday we have two, From Mouse to Marquee about Disney Musicals by Addie, and TMSM Explains, which goes into detail about Disney topics that people question the most, by Autumn.
Saturday‘s prime time blog is usually a personal blog written by Michele, random Disney thoughts and memories.
Sunday is usually where “Don’t Be That Guy at Disney” or “Funny Things Overheard at Disney” take place. It’s a spot for fun, done by Michele
We also provide a spot for “This Day in Disney History” every single day as well! This gives our readers a pinch of Disney History that they may or may not have known about! ~ Autumn and graphic by Sherry
In addition to our series days, we also have guest blogs from Main Streeters who submit their stories, which is always fun to see. For more original content that’s exclusive to subscribers, we have our magazine, The Main Street Monthly. In the magazine, we have amazing contributors who write from personal experiences, to give our readers the lowdown across both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. We only work with certain contributors, and our circle is small, in order to give our subscribers the best and most accurate information possible. The magazine features TMSM Staff, as well as help from Mad About the Mouse, Disney Image Makers, and Skywalking Through Neverland. It’s a great combination!
So there you have it! As you can see, there’s method to our madness, and the content we put out is done a certain way for a reason. Adding personal touches and thoughts is something that’s important to us, and what helped build the community we are today. We thank Disney for allowing us to share news stories, as news is important. However, TMSM isn’t a news site necessarily, that’s not the main goal. We are a Disney Community, a place to share stories and information, and make new Disney friends too.
