One of my favorite things about Star Wars Weekends is the celebrity meet and greets. From Ray Park (Darth Maul), to Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) you will meet one of your favorites! We got lucky last year and met loads of our favorites.

We got to meet my idol last year, Ashley Eckstein. If you don’t know who she is, she is the voice of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and in Star Wars Rebels. She also owns my favorite clothing line, Her Universe. Last year, we got to meet her twice. We caught her when she was leaving her greets for the day and asked if she would take a quick picture and she did! The other time, we happened to be in Darth’s Mall on a day she was having a clothes signing. We were among the small group that made it. She’s such a nice person!

We also ran into the host, James Arnold Taylor (voice actor who’s known for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Plo Koon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars). He’s also super nice and stopped to take a picture with our TMSM sign from last year’s 24 hour event!

The highlight of last year was meeting the amazing Mark Hamill! We got super lucky when we were walking around. He was saying hi to some people in line for his show. When he started to walk back, we asked him for a quick picture and he took one with us! My sister is such a huge Luke fan so she was in awe!

If you don’t have a chance to meet some of your favorites, you can still see them in the motorcade that welcomes them to Star Wars Weekends. The parade has all of your favorite characters plus more! Each weekend, all the celebrities enter on these cars! They all meet up on stage while the host, James Arnold Taylor, tells you about the day’s events!

In the end, it’s always fun to try and see your favorite celebrities. We make it a game to find James Arnold Taylor since he likes to photobomb people and just be plain old funny! Is meeting the celebrities a must for you?
