Recently, we were invited to attend a dinner at the American Q restaurant, at the beautiful B Resort and Spa in the Downtown Disney resort area. Never heard of American Q? Well, it’s a hidden gem on Disney property, especially for those who love to eat!
American Q has a red truck buffet, filled with salads, side dishes, baked mac and cheese, potatoes, and other amazing choices. You can even sit inside the truck and take a picture, like a photo booth! The staff will warn you though, to not fill up too much on those side dishes, because shortly there will be a wide variety of meats brought right to your table.
So, if you’re a meat eater, you will be in luck here at American Q. The staff brings meat selections directly to you and they cut it right on the spot. Meat choices include Turkey, Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Brisket, Sausage, Smoked Pork and Flank Steak. You can also have grilled vegetables, if you’re looking for a meatless option. Guests also get a skillet of cornbread on the table as well. It’s delicious.
Once your meal is finished, there are a variety of desserts to choose from. We were given a dessert sampler that included bread pudding and a mini chocolate flourless cake. Oh my, so good! American Q also has a unique drink menu. I ordered a raspberry lemon cosmopolitan that was fantastic!
