Checking out Hanson at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Fest! They have their own beer too!

Last night, we headed over to Epcot to catch the band Hanson, who were playing at the Eat to the Beat concert series. We caught the first show, which began at 5:30. Even though we arrived over an hour before showtime, there was a huge line to get into the concert seating area. I decided to be a good sport and stand in the long line and waited to catch a seat. Once the line started moving, we actually got great seats right in the middle of the viewing area. Part of going to the Parks is the art of people watching, and it was fun to see people come out to see Hanson wearing specially made shirts for the event (Like Kristen and Megan, in the pic above). That teenage nostalgia came back for so many people once the music started playing.

The band was really good…. they still sound exactly the same, just as they did when Hanson came on the scene back in the 90’s. People in the crowd danced and sang right along with the music, and a good time was had by all. One interesting thing I found though….. was that Hanson was debuting their own brand of beer at the festival. Yes, beer…. appropriately titles “Mmmhops!” Cute, huh? We went over to the stand outside the American Pavilion to get ourselves a small cup of the Hanson themed beer. The line was really long, a lot of people were curious about Mmmhops, but we waited anyway. It wasn’t bad, and for $3.50 you can give it a try for yourself!

If you’re looking for a bit on nostalgia from the comforts of home, we recorded parts of last nights Hanson concert for our Main Streeters to enjoy! You can see the video on the link below! I didn’t realize that after all these years, Hanson still has a huge following. Hanson to me will be like frying pans to Flynn Ryder….Hanson! Who knew, right? We hope you like the video!
