Kohl’s Cares Releases New Disney Line to raise money for charities
“Kohl’s Cares” is an amazing program that Kohls Department stores run in store and online to raise fund for various charity programs. One of my favorite divisions of the “Kohl’s Care” program is the Cause Merchandise book and plush animal series. This program sells kid-friendly merchandise like children’s story books and matching stuffed animals from the books at a beyond reasonable price of $5 PER item. Kohls gives “100% of the net profit” from each item sold to support children’s education and health programs in communities across the US. Per the Kohl’s Care website the have donated “Since 2000, more than $231 million has been raised nationwide.”
Outside of the amazing generosity of this program, the other reason I love it is, IT ENCOURAGES READING! Every quarter the Kohl’s Cares Cause Merchandise program focuses on a different theme, author etc. I won’t lie I have been known to attack this display for cherished children’s books (and their matching stuffed toy) to give as gifts, or to rebuild my personal favorite book library when books like Dr. Seuss and Eric Carle lines were out.
Today my wonderful friend Jenn Webb messaged me with a simple but attention grabbing statement. “The new Kohl’s Cares line is Disney.” I raced to the Kohl’s Cares site to check out the options and am beyond excited to be able to share these great items with you! Each Plush, Book, Puzzle or bag is sold individually and is only $5 and are all adorable! Hopefully you take advantage of these items early as they are limited availability!
