A New Store Joins The Marketplace Co-Op At Downtown Disney
If you have been to the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, you may know of the WonderGround Gallery which showcases some distinctive and eclectic contemporary art. Well now you won’t have to wait to get to Disneyland to shop the gallery. WonderGround Gallery has opened up in the Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney in Walt Disney World.

Located just inside the main entrance of the shop, this new addition contains a handful of prints, mugs, magnets, postcards and more from various artists originally featured in the California location.
If you are not familiar with the Marketplace Co-Op, it’s a testing ground for new shops. Inside the area that was Team Mickey before, there are little shops selling different types of products, depending on that shops merchandise. They way it was designed they can add and take away shops as needed. I have to admit, personally I loved Team Mickey and was sad it was going away, but I really like the new Co-Op area.
The pictures above are courtesy of Steven Miller as he recently visited the new store and shared them on the Disney Parks blog. Notice the detail in the signs and such on the crates. He also stated they have now added benches between the different shops.
If you are unable to make it to either WonderGround Gallery location, some of the merchandise can be found on the Disney Parks Online Store.
