New Rapid Fill Mugs now available at WDW!

The new Rapid Fill refillable mugs are now being used throughout the Resorts at Walt Disney World.   This new system allows guests to buy a set amount of dates ahead of time to use the mug.  It reminds me of Park Passes, you plan ahead on how many days you want it!  RFID chips put inside the structure of the mugs only allow you to use them during the pre-planned amount of days. When that time period is over, the mug will deactivate itself. The new mugs will be able to be used at any resort hotel quick service or food court areas throughout the “World.”  These mugs are for Resorts only, and can not be used at any of the Parks.  The cost is as follows:

$8.99 for 1 day
$11.99 for 2 days
$14.99 for 3 days
$17.99 for length of stay

I think this is a good idea if you spend a lot of time at the Resorts.  For me, I wouldn’t find it beneficial because we spend hardly any time at the Resort, as most of our day is spent at a Park.  It would be great if they came up with a similar offer for the 4 Parks during a length of stay.  With Disney always evolving, you never know what could be next!
