Princess Leia Dress Worn by Carrie Fisher to Auction for $1 Million

Yes–we promise you read that right! An iconic Princess Leia dress from the “Star Wars” film series warn by the late actress Carrie Fisher is going to auction and its auction house expects it to goes for anywhere between $1 to $2 million.

The dress was featured in the original “Star Wars” film (1977) “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” and will be featured in “Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction: Los Angeles 2023” by Propstore Auction. The auction will run for three days and will feature several other non “Star Wars”- related pieces of Hollywood memorabilia.

For those not familiar, Propstore Auction hosts an annual live auction of film and television memorabilia in Los Angeles. The auction hosts many auctions throughout the year both in person and online on their website, which allows users to not only win iconic items but also sell them!

Other famous items to be featured in this auction includes Chris Pratt’s light-up “Star Lord” helmet from the 2014 “Guardians of the Galaxy” film and Harry Potter’s distressed costume, worn by Daniel Radcliffe in “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” The magical costume is expected to go for at least $75,000 during the auction.
