Here is the group of people that bring you the “Magic” for both The Main Street Mouse and The Main Street Monthly.
Michele Atwood – Co-Owner / Lead Writer / Social Media Lead / Magazine Editor
Michele Atwood is the Owner/Editor of The Main Street Mouse and it’s subsidiaries along with her husband Scott. She and her family recently made the move from Michigan to the Orlando area to pursue their Disney dreams. Michele is a life long Disney fan, and has two sons who have followed suit, each going on their first Disney trip before their first birthday’s. Part of the goal Michele has for The Main Street Mouse is not only to keep members informed, but to create somewhat of a Disney Family by relating to others through personal experiences and opinions. Also, Michele is making it a priority to share stories of inspiration and hope to other Disney Fans in an effort to share the Magic and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others.
~ I enjoy writing personal perspective blogs, doing TMSM Meet Ups for our readers, and keeping the constant interaction going with others, sharing the Disney Magic to people when they can’t be at their Happy Place.
Scott Atwood – Co-Owner / Webmaster / Magazine Editor-In-Chief / Video Producer
Scott Atwood is the co-owner and co-creator of The Main Street Mouse, Off TMSM, TMSM Geek and now TMSMonthly. Working in a technical support position for 18 years, it was time for a change. As the Webmaster and Project Planner, I spend most of my time researching everything from the latest Disney News, technology advances and of course keeping up on all the Marvel and Star Wars news that comes out. I never considered myself a writer but i’ve come to like blogging and sharing news with all. I feel blessed everyday that I get to spend my days working with my best friend and love of my life while we continue to grow and expand what started as a hobby all those years ago.
Autumn Barnes – Lead Admin / Writer / Travel Specialist / Facebook Moderator
Autumn Barnes is a lifelong Disney fan whose days revolve around her various Disney related responsibilities and interests. Autumn has been a Main Streeter since 2009 and was one of the first 100 TMSM followers eventually joining the staff in 2012. Autumn’s first trip to Walt Disney World was in 1996. Returning in 2005 with her husband Drew for their honeymoon, together they joined Disney Vacation Club in 2006. Since then she has visited Walt Disney World over thirty times, visited Disneyland, cruised on two Disney Cruise Line ships on two coasts, and attended several D23 events. Autumn loves to try new Disney technology and even tested Walt Disney World’s FP+ system in December 2012 before it was available for guest use. Autumn believes that Disney magic is not just something you receive, it is something you must also give which is why she loves helping members of the Main Street Mouse community and writing about Disney News and Travel related topics.
Corey Tucker – Writer / Facebook Moderator
Corey Tucker has been a writer, moderator, and an admin, amongst various other roles with the TMSM for over 5 years. When he’s not playing with radiation at his day job at a nuclear plant, he can be found hanging out with friends and family and possibly planning another trip to Walt Disney World. If you frequent the site very often (or at least on Tuesdays) then you’ve probably heard of the world famous blog posting “Tuesdays with Corey”, that’s him. Every Tuesday he has a blog about foods, history of the parks or whatever he feels is pertinent at the moment. So if you don’t currently read his blogs, please start. It’s been known to change lives…really it has.
Susanne Kain – Writer / Facebook Moderator
Susanne Kain was not born a Disney fan, but after marrying into a family that loves all things Disney, it didn’t take long for them to transform her into a Disney lover too! Since then, she has been to Disney over 10 times and falls in love even more with each visit. A self-proclaimed foodie, she is always looking for the next best dish that Disney has to offer! When Susanne isn’t dreaming of Disney, planning her next trip, or visiting a park, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son who also share her love of Disney.
Dan Fischer – Writer
After spending the majority of his working life in retail, Dan Fischer decided to enroll in culinary school at the age of 36. While in school, he began working in and around the Philadelphia area, eventually settling with Iron Hill Restaurant and Brewery, a small but extremely successful chain of brew pubs. After a brief stint as the pastry chef at the world-famous Pine Valley Golf Club, Dan has returned to Iron Hill to continue exploring his “savory side”. Dan and his wife are DVC members, Platinum-level Castaways, and have been to Disney theme parks more than twenty times in nine years. His all-time favorite Disney dish was La Cellier’s poutine with duck confit (now tragically off the menu). He would love to work for just about any restaurant in World Showcase. He lives in New Jersey with his wife Leslie, and their dog Loki.
Susie Bryan – Writer
Susie Bryan has been a Disney fan since her family started going to Fort Wilderness on a regular basis when she was in third grade. Since then, her love for all things Disney has become a major part of her life. Susie has been a Main Streeter since 2015 when she worked for TMSM for her college internship, writing mostly Star Wars articles. After graduating from Jacksonville University in 2016, she started working at a marketing agency and loves her job. She currently is the Star Wars contributor for TMSMonthly and loves that job too. She wants to live every day by her favorite Walt Disney quote, “All of our dreams will come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” and her favorite Star Wars quote from R2-D2, “Beep, beep, boop, bop beep.”
Addie Clark – Writer
Addie Clark has been a life long lover of Disney. Her earliest memory is of seeing Beauty and the Beast in a movie theater and since then, she’s been hooked. Spending 5 years in Florida as a kid helped feed the addiction and even though she isn’t local anymore, she gets back as often as she can. Taking her addiction to a new level, in 2014 she took up running so she could participate in the runDisney events. Addie has been blogging for TMSM since 2014 and is excited to write for the magazine now as well. In addition to Disney, Addie recently got her PhD in analytical chemistry.
Josh Taylor – Writer
Josh Taylor has been creating content about Disney for 5+ years. Starting out writing for multiple blogs, he is now a co-founder of Network1901 and host of the Modern Mouse Radio podcast as well as The World That Never Was podcast. He spends a majority of his time creating YouTube videos, podcasts, and articles seven days a week. He also co-owns ModernMouseBoutique.com with his wife Angie, a custom mouse ear and DisneyBounding store. Now he is also a part of The Main Street Monthly, continuing to write about Disney, building new relationships, and bonding more with the ones he already has with those at TMSM.
Erika Krystle – Writer
Erika Krystle has been a Disney kid for as long as I can remember, but my love of visiting Disney Parks started after just one ride in a Doom Buggy. I couldn’t run to guest relations fast enough to offer up my soul in return for an Annual Pass. Since then Disney has taken all my money, but has given me the most cherished memories; from watching my Nona’s face light up with happy tears as we strolled down Main Street on her first visit (she was 84 at the time), to my very own engagement on Halloween in front of the Haunted Mansion.
I’m excited to be on the TMSM team and where Disney Parks are concerned, you won’t catch me dead on It’s a Small World. If I ask to ride that, this is a clear indication I am in danger and you must send help. You will however catch me performing Random Acts of Disney (R.A.D’s), park hopping with my amazing group of impressively talented and kind friends (usually in some themed attire), hanging out by The Haunted Mansion, and ugly crying during Wishes… then begging for a Mickey Premium Bar to eat my feelings…don’t judge me.
Otherwise, I work for the State of Florida and I am actively involved in my community. I believe in empowering others and spreading kindness to people from all walks of life. I also make custom designed Disney inspired ears, etched glass, gifts, and accessories. You can check out, like or follow my work on FB, which also links to my shop’s Instagram and Etsy page: www.facebook.com/imagineering.emporium. I look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing the magic of Disney!

As a self-taught photographer of 6 years Disney World has always been a great playground for me to learn many things. I love sharing my work with people that are as passionate about Disney as I am. I live in Buffalo NY so I don’t get to visit the parks as much as I would like but sharing my Disney adventures with the world always helps to get me through to my next visit.
