TMSM Explains: Walt Disney World Complimentary Transportation Or How To Get From Point A to Point B

Screen Shot 2016-02-19 at 7.38.44 PMWalt Disney World’s complimentary transportation is available to Disney Resort guests and Walt Disney World Park guests. Disney Transportation can cause a good deal of confusion if you aren’t familiar with it and are trying to get around. While some resorts only have one set way to get from A to B, other resorts depending on their locations may have two or more options. There are three forms of transportation offered by Disney; buses, monorails and boats. If any transfers or transportation swaps need done it will be noted. Also, on occasion there is the option to walk from one location to another, this will also be noted. So tonight, we are going to show you the most direct way from each resort to each theme park and park to park using ONLY Walt Disney World’s free transportation options.

One thing to remember is that some buses actually service more than one park or locations; for example your resort bus to the Animal Kingdom also goes to Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland mini golf course. Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon also share a bus, Due to current Disney Springs Construction In the morning this shared bus stops at Typhoon Lagoon first and then after 2pm you must take a resort bus to Epcot to then take a bus to Typhoon Lagoon, when leaving Blizzard Beach after 2pm you will be taken to Epcot to then get on a bus to go to your resort.

Also, there are times that there are tons of ways to get from a resort to a specific location like Fantasia Gardens which is located near the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. While you can take a resort bus to Disney Springs and then a bus to the Epcot area resorts and use the walk path, due to the construction at the Springs, we have elected to use the option of busing to Hollywood Studios instead.
