Today In Disney History ~ December 4th
Austin & Ally premiered on the Disney Channel on 12/4/11. It was created by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert and stars Ross Lynch, Laura Marano, Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy. Set in Miami, the show is a comedy that focuses on the relationship between two very different musicians Austin Moon and Ally Dawson and their two best friends. At the start of the show Ally was a writer and singer that wouldn’t perform on stage, but she eventually got over her stage fright. Austin on the other hand started as a performer, who then had to quit his dream of being a rock star for a period of time. Currently the show is airing it’s confirmed final season, but an official finale episode date has yet to be announced.
