Today in Disney’s History June 11th
The Main Street Electrical Parade was created by Bob Jani and Ron Mizike. The parade has had three “runs” at Walt Disney World. The original run was from 6/11/77-9/14/91 and was then sent to what was then EuroDisneyland. The parade returned for it’s second run on 5/28/99 and ran until 4/1/01 using the original Disneyland floats and was then sent back to Disneyland. The third and current run of the parade began on 6/6/10 and has floats from the original Disneyland version and new floats and elements from the Disneyland version that ran at California Adventure.
