Today, the New Zealand Mint has released their third release of Officially Licensed Disney Collectible Coins, The Mickey & Friends Coin Series.
The series features each of the following iconic characters:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Goofy
- Pluto
Each are in a contemporary style, depicted in colour and relief engraving.
The Observe side features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Each coin is 999 Fine Silver and weigh 1 Troy oz. The diameter of each coin is 40 mm. The country of issue is Niue and has a denomination of $2.
