We may have lost the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade here at Walt Disney World, but our loss was Disneyland’s gain! The parade recently returned to the Disneyland Resort, and the Disney Style blog put out some fun outfit ideas that are a nod to the Main Street Electrical Parade! The key to this parade-inspired look was figuring out which textures best represented the lights on the float. Glitter and metallics, along with rounded shapes, were an easy way to make the light-up concept come to life.
One of our favorite floats in the Main Street Electrical Parade is the giant mushroom that Alice sits on top of. We took a bit of inspiration from Alice’s look, along with the colors from the float to create this bright look.
You will see a lot of green lights in this parade, so this vibrant green sweater is what really makes this outfit. Plus, these bug-eyed glasses are reminiscent of some of the cutest floats in the parade.
