In October we shared with you that Disney Cruise Line was introducing Marvel Day at Sea sailings on select Fall 2017 cruises on the Magic out of New York City. Today we are excited to share the news that Disney Cruise Line has confirmed eight additional Marvel Day at Sea sailings on the Magic’s Miami sailings from January to April 2018.
Marvel Day at Sea sailings, like Star Wars Day at Sea cruises, offer guests a special at sea day of themed entertainment and activities, special character meet and greets, special merchandise and food, and a deck party. Also confirmed are new Marvel Day at Sea character interactions with Black Panther Iron Man and Loki. A new Doctor Strange show will take place in the Walt Disney Theatre that “will showcase his journey from doubter to practitioner as he demonstrates the power of the mystic arts.” Guests will also get to see exclusive at-sea screendings of Marvel films, and episodes of Disney XD’d Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.
2018 Marvel Day at Sea sailings will be held on select 5-night cruises leaving Miami on Jan. 7, 21; Feb. 4, 18; March 18; April 1, 15 and 2 with port stops in Cozumel or Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay. Guests can still book select 2017 Marvel Day at Sea dates leaving from New York City on Oct. 6, 14, 28; Nov. 4, 11 and 18, 2017 to Nassau, Port Canaveral, and Castaway Cay. For those looking to try something new the 10/21/17 Marvel Day at Sea cruise will be heading north to Halifax, Sydney, and Charlottetown Canada.
