Yes you did read that right, Spider-Man, the webbed hero from Marvel is going to be appearing in Disneyland Park at Super Hero HQ beginning November 16th. News broke a few months back that Spider-Man would be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his own film and will be a part of the highly anticipated 2016 film Captain America: Civil War.
Currently, Marvel fans near Walt Disney World, have to drive 15 minutes East to Universal Orlando in order to see any of the Marvel characters, due to contractual obligations Marvel had with Universal before Disney purchased the comic super power. I honestly never thought I would see Universal allow Disney to have Spider-Man in any park, maybe there is progress being made on Disney buying out the Universal contract for the Marvel characters, and bringing them to all their parks. Nobody knows what is going on for sure though and I won’t start a new rumor. I do know that Universal Orlando did just close the Hulk roller coaster and it’s going through a major refurbishment, so maybe a rebranding? As I said no one knows what will happen.
