Yesterday D23, the official Disney Fan Club, sent an email to current members announcing a change to membership levels. Many of you remember last winter D23 created the new “free” membership level that allowed individuals access to the “members only” section of the D23 website and several other member perks.
Effective immediately the Silver level of membership is no longer available for purchase or renewal, active Silver memberships will still be honored until they expire. This will leave the free General Membership level, the original Gold membership level that allows members to take one guest with them to most ticketed D2 events and the newly announced Family Gold Membership level which will allow members to bring up to three family members with them to ticketed D23 events. The email also hinted at D23 Gold membership perks that would be announced at a later date. Currently new membership prices have not been released.
