3-Time Winner: 1.) Gold – Craft, Best Sound and Sound Design 2.) Gold – Craft, Best Use of Archival Footage 3.) Silver – Best Documentary, Long Form

One of Disney’s most celebrated projects was Disneyland Handcrafted, which earned three separate Telly Awards including Gold for Best Sound and Sound Design, Gold for Best Use of Archival Footage, and Silver for Best Long-Form Documentary. The documentary explores the construction of Disneyland in 1955 and showcases rare archival footage, immersive sound design, and behind-the-scenes storytelling focused on the creation of Walt Disney’s original park.

Director Leslie Iwerks and her team reportedly reviewed more than 50 hours of historic Disneyland construction footage during the production process, restoring forgotten moments from the Walt Disney Film Archives to help tell the story of Disneyland’s early development. Because much of the original footage lacked audio, the team at Skywalker Soundrecreated environmental sounds and effects from scratch to immerse viewers in the experience.

Winner: Gold – Best Video Podcast

Disney Experiences also earned a Gold Telly Award for Best Video Podcast with “My Disney Spectacular,” a special episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce filmed at Magic Kingdom Park. Featuring Kylie Kelce and Donna Kelce, the episode blended family vacation moments with authentic Disney Parks experiences in a casual and relatable format. The collaboration also earned Audience Honors at the Shorty Awards in both Brand Partnership and Travel & Tourism categories.

Winner: Bronze – Best Creator/Brand Partnership

Another standout winner was the collaboration with Dude Perfect titled “Going to Every Disney Park in 75 Hours,” which earned a Bronze Telly Award for Best Creator/Brand Partnership. The fast-paced video followed the popular creators as they attempted to visit Disney Parks around the world in under 75 hours while showcasing attractions, entertainment, and Disney storytelling across multiple international destinations.

Winner: Silver – Best Education and Discovery Series

Disney’s behind-the-scenes educational content also received recognition. The Imagineer That! series earned a Silver Telly Award for Best Education and Discovery Series. Hosted by the returning Tom Morrow 2.0 character, the series gives viewers a closer look at the creativity, engineering, and storytelling behind Disney attractions and Imagineering projects.

Winner: Silver – Best Science and Technology Video

The We Call It Imagineering episode featuring Disney’s robotic Olaf and advanced Imagineering technology won Silver for Best Science and Technology Video. The episode highlighted innovation happening inside Walt Disney Imagineering’s research and development labs, including next-generation robotics and Star Wars-inspired technology.
