Disney Parks has officially announced the return of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER from May 26 through September 8, bringing limited-time entertainment, interactive activities, character appearances, and exciting updates across the resort. From brand new experiences featuring Bluey and Disney Jr. favorites to refreshed classic attractions and the highly anticipated reopening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, there will be plenty for guests of all ages to enjoy during the summer season.

This year’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER celebration will feature DJ dance parties, hands-on family activities, and surprise character appearances throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Families visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom can experience the new Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, while EPCOT introduces GoofyCore inside CommuniCore Hall. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can enjoy the debut of “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” along with the reopening of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, one of the most anticipated attraction updates Disney fans have been waiting for. Star Wars fans also have something new to look forward to this summer, as Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will debut an updated mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu beginning May 22 at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, tying into the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu.

At Magic Kingdom Park, guests can check out the new “Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue” and blast off on the refreshed Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. The popular Tomorrowland attraction recently received upgraded gameplay, enhanced blasters, refreshed star cruisers, and a brand-new Audio-Animatronics support robot named Buddy, helping prepare recruits for their mission against Emperor Zurg.

Disney also highlighted the return of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, bringing back the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” with updated magic while keeping the same thrilling runaway train adventure families have loved for years. Meanwhile, Soarin’ Around the World temporarily shifts to the fan-favorite Soarin’ Across America experience as part of Disney’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, giving guests a breathtaking journey across some of the country’s most iconic landscapes.

The summer fun extends beyond the parks as well. Disney Springs will host select-night dance parties inspired by upcoming Disney+ originals like Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3. Disney Resort hotel guests can also enjoy complimentary water park admission on check-in day beginning May 26, along with enhanced activities at select Cool KIDS’ SUMMER resorts including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
