Leilani Shiu is known for her work in the Star Wars universe, where she has brought multiple characters to life across several Disney+ series. Fans will recognize her from appearances in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Alongside her daughter Ariel Shiu, she has portrayed Jawas across all three series, including the fan-favorite character Teeka in Obi-Wan Kenobi. She also appeared as a Chadra-Fan gambler in The Book of Boba Fett, showcasing her versatility in creature performance and immersive on-screen roles.
Leilani’s work highlights the incredible talent behind the scenes that helps bring the Star Wars galaxy to life. Through physical performance and character work, she plays an important part in creating the authentic worlds fans have come to love.
