What is Disney Lorcana?
Disney Lorcana TCG is a collectible trading card game set in the enchanting realm of Lorcana, which launched in 2023 with The First Chapter.
In the game, you are an Illumineer, with the power to wield magical ink to summon glimmers of familiar and reimagined versions of Disney characters on epic quests. Each ink (Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel) enhances different parts of a character’s personality, powers, and appearance, making for some truly unique gameplay.
Your Disney Lorcana journey is truly up to you, whether you collect cards, build decks, or trade amongst family, friends, and fellow fans.
April 17, 2026: Exploring New Adventures in Wilds Unknown
Spring has sprung, and the world of Lorcana is in full bloom with a whimsical set Wilds Unknownon the way in the coming weeks.
The artwork for the Enchanted cards (more details on what makes a card Enchanted below) in the Wilds Unknown set is the start of something new for Disney Lorcana, as we’ve learned that the cards will feature Art Nouveau-inspired styling. Appropriately named “Lore Nouveau,” this special design style takes organic features like winding curves and fluid elements that are inspired by the natural world, combining them with the game’s signature aesthetic to create something truly magnificent.
Wilds Unknown encourages a sense of exploration and discovery, with bright colors and breathtaking landscapes being a core component of the journey players will embark on with these cards.
Pixar Characters Make their Disney Lorcana Debut
The unique art style of these cards isn’t the only new path Disney Lorcanais venturing down with Wilds Unknown. This set also marks the debut of Pixar characters and stories in the realm, meaning it will be the first time these character glimmers have been featured as Enchanted cards.
As we’ve covered previously, Enchanted cards are included in each Disney Lorcana TCG set. These are full-art cards, meaning they have no border with more space for designs to cover, and have a striking holographic look as a result of the foiling. They are classified as rare, so it is extra special to find one in your booster pack, and they always have art that is themed to the set.
Today, we are excited to share a first look at two Enchanted cards from Wilds Unknown.

- Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles, Mrs. Incredible – Determined Rescuer
The Incredibles remains a classic and beloved film from Disney and Pixar, and Toy Story is the talk of the town these days with the release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 rapidly approaching on June 19. We are so excited to see versions of these characters being introduced to Disney LorcanaTCG, especially with such awe-inspiring artwork.
As the release of Wilds Unknown approaches, fans can look forward to more card previews online and the debut of Disney Lorcana TCG Prerelease Box in game stores beginning May 8. Each box contains six booster packs, one of six random promo cards, and more goodies showing off the story and theme. Prerelease Boxes will only be available at local game stores, so sign up now on the RPH for an amazing Prerelease experience.
Wilds Unknown is available for prerelease on May 8, and everywhere starting May 15.
