Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian and all the other characters from The Little Mermaid will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in a all new show called “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” beginning May 27, 2025.
This all new show will replace “Voyage of the Little Mermaid” which closed in March of 2020 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The all new show will take the audience to Ariel’s treasure trove and feature lively puppets, props, and scenes all center stage as the pervious show did. New to this performance will be all new digital puppetry and unbelievable effects, as well as new to the show songs!!
What is “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” about?
The theater for “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” is located in Animation Courtyard. Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Prince Eric, and more beloved characters will take to the stage to retell the classic story of The Little Mermaid. This completely revamped show will showcase breathtaking sets, creative costumes, state-of-the-art effects, expert puppetry, and a daring new design style that reflects Ariel’s thoughts and feelings as she sees the world in her own special way.
What songs will be included in the reimagined show?
This new show will feature the classic fan favorite songs “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World”. In addition there will be two all new to this theater songs debuting with this show for all to sing along to. The new songs for this show are “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”
